“My pet just ate my entire lip balm. What should I do?”

Our lip balms shouldn't harm your pet. However, we recommend keeping an eye on unusual behaviour; depending on their size, they might be uncomfortable with their throat being too greasy.
Be cautious! Some brands use an ingredient called 'xylitol' which can be hazardous to pets. If you own lip balms with this ingredient, exercise extra caution around your furry friends. Better yet, choose Rebels Refinery for peace of mind. xoxo

Are all your products gluten-free/cruelty-free/vegan/recyclable?

You’re asking a lot of questions at once huh?

1) All of our products' ingredients are gluten-free. The containers are gluten-free as well, except for the refillable lip balm which has a wheat paste component for the pod. However, none of our final products have been Celiac tested; that’s why we don’t recommend Celiac customers use them.

2) All our products are cruelty-free. Our brand is approved by the Leaping bunny program. To learn more about the Leaping bunny program, click here.

3) Our lip balms are not Vegan. Please refer to the ingredient list on each product to find out.

4) All our products are recyclable. Just make sure to clean them well and put them in the right recycling bins. To clean the lip balms, read the following steps:

1. Open the empty lip balm and scratch the leftover as much as you can (with a spoon, for example).

2. Place the open lip balm on a plate in the microwave for 10 sec, and check if the leftover balm has melted. If not, do it again 5 sec per 5 sec until it’s melted.

3. Once it's melted (be careful it's hot oils), remove the remaining liquid from the container and rinse with warm water.

4. Rubbing alcohol or our hand sanitizer will dissolve the leftover.

5. You are good to go. 😉

Are you sure you checked your back window? We suggest waiting a couple of days as it often happens that it shows up a little later. Your package might have been lost or misdelivered by the carrier. You can email us at info@rebelsrefinery.com and we will check the status with the carrier and provide you with a solution. What is your shipping policy?

Our shipping policy can be found at the bottom of all our website pages. You can also click here to have direct access to it.

My order shipped but I need to change the address.

If your package has already been shipped and you didn’t receive it then we can reship the goods. However, the second shipment will issue an additional shipping fee. If the package hasn’t been pick-up yet, please contact info@rebelsrefinery.com and let them know your order # and the correct address.

How much does shipping cost?

It depends on your country, item(s) weight, and carrier. We provide free shipping for all orders over $50. You can get a quote for your order by adding the items you want to your cart and adding your shipping address at checkout. This can be done before entering your payment info and confirming your order. We are aware that Canadian shipping is very expensive and we want to let you know that we always pay 25% of the real cost.

Do you ship internationally?

Customers are welcome to utilize international shipping services, UPS, DHL, and FedEx... at their own expense, to receive packages outside of our supported shipping regions.

Any missing/lost/stuck international shipping package is not under Rebels Refinery's responsibility. Please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. We won't be able to contact the carrier.

Rebels Refinery is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer's responsibility (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

When will my order be ready and shipped?

Please allow up to 4 business days after ordering your order to be picked, packed, and shipped. Orders are processed from Monday to Friday. Please note that the shipping method timeframes do not take into account order processing. For more information, please refer to our shipping policy here. You’ll receive a notification by email as soon as the label of your package is created.

Can I purchase goods and pick them up instead of paying for shipping?

You’ll help us make our lives easy! If you live in the GTA our warehouse/office is located at 49 McCormack St, York, ON M6N 1X8. We’re even more fun in real life!

What shipping methods are available?

If you’re living in Canada, we’re working with Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, Canpar, and FedEx. FlashBox is used for our local delivery in the GTA (the option will only appear if your postal code is included in their listed area).

For the US, we only use USPS. Please note that if your order includes sanitizers, it will take a few extra days as we need to inform our inventory manager in the US.

ORDERS & RETURNS

Can I cancel or modify my order after I placed it?

As long as the order isn’t ready to be shipped, you can modify or cancel it by emailing info@rebelsrefinery.com. Please don’t forget to mention your order number.

Are all your ingredients sustainably/ ethically sourced?

All our ingredients are sustainably and ethically sourced as it’s one of the conditions for us to be under the leaping Bunny certification. Our company stands for a more sustainable and ethical world.

Do you use any paraben in your products?

We’re not using any paraben in our products.

Do you use any palm oil or glitter in your product?

We do use palm oil in our hand lotion and moisturizer that is ethically and sustainably sourced. We don’t use any glitter in our lip balm, whether tinted or not.

Do you use any plastic microbeads?

No. We don’t use any plastic microbeads in any of our products. All the ingredients can be found on each product page in the description box.

Is your sweet almond oil refined or non-refined?

Unrefined oils have a much shorter shelf life and are prone to going rancid.
Any additional nutrients of unrefined oils are essentially lost due to the high heat needed in the lip balm production.

Is your skincare line adapted to all types of skin?

All our skincare line has been developed to fit all types of skin. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean sensitive skin. Please make sure to read the instructions and ingredient lists to avoid any allergic reactions. For more information, you can always contact us at info@rebelsrefinery.com

What if my skin reacts to one of your products?

To avoid any allergy reactions, please make sure to read the ingredient list. If any reaction occurs, please stop using the product and contact us at info@rebelsrefinery.com

Can Rebels’ products be used on sensitive skin?

We have people with very sensitive skin on our Team, and most of our skin products have been game-changing for them! However, we recommend using a tiny amount of the product on a small area of your skin to see if it causes any amount of reaction. If any reaction occurs, stop using immediately.

Are the products suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding people?

As a precaution, we recommend consulting your doctor before using any skincare products whether it’s from our brand or another. All the ingredients we’re using in our products have been tested and considered to be safe but haven’t specifically been tested on pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Are lip balms edible & safe for toddlers?

Our lip balms are 100% natural clean & safe ingredients; you can apply lip balm on them without any doubts.
If they happen to eat a balm, it shouldn't harm them. However, we recommend not making it a habit. If you notice any unusual complaints, discomforts or behaviours, please consult your doctor or the closest drug mart. (especially if they ate a full one at once or more).

What is the expiry date of the products?

Please refer to the small container symbol and the number should define how long you can use it after opening the container. Our lip balms are made out of beeswax which is a natural preservative ingredient that will allow you to use your lip balm until the end of time even if it becomes yellowish.

Do all your flavors come in all shapes?

Unfortunately, not as we have over 15 flavors and 5 shapes + 1 stick. (which would make 90 options of lip balm). We’re working every day on creating the best options to offer our beloved customers and on enlarging our collection.

How does your refillable work? Can I use the pod with all my lip balms?

The pods can only be specifically used with refillable lip balms.

The pump on my body lotion/hand lotion refill doesn’t work or seems to be broken.

Unscrew fully the pump from the bottle, and screw it back very (very tight) = VERY IMPORTANT. Then pull the upper unit out while holding the ring once so the bottle is secured with the pump. If that doesn’t work, please email us at info@rebelsrefinery.com and we’ll be happy to provide you with a solution.

COMPANY INFORMATIONS

Do you have a store?

We don’t have a brand store. However, if you’re living in the GTA you can order and pick up your goods. Otherwise, our products are sold in different retailers and wholesalers in the US and Canada. You can find the list of our third-party distributors here with the store locator.

Can I use the gift cards in stores?

The online digital gift card can only be used on our website and does not have an expiry date.

Do you offer promotional codes?

We offer 10% off as a welcome gift to new customers. By subscribing to our newsletters and SMS alerts, you also benefit from more promotional codes.

Why is your lip balm always cheaper at Walmart (US)?

We provide a greater variety of lip balm flavors and colors, and additional skin and body products on our website. We also want to create the best customer experience for you (customers). Our digital marketing team is constantly working on engaging with you as your opinion matters a lot to us. The higher price point on our website can be justified to pay our digital marketing team, the extra costs, and logistics. Do you have a reward program or a loyalty program?

We don’t have a specific loyalty or reward program (yet), however, customers subscribing to our newsletters and SMS alerts can benefit from special deals to exclusivity.

Can you help with a product I bought from a third-party marketplace?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns for products purchased from a third-party distributor. However, you can return them to our third-party distributor partners’ customer service. A receipt or proof of purchase might be required from our partners to process a refund or replacement.
